| Introduction | Ali Abubakar Sadiq was born in 1971 in the ancient city of Kano, Nigeria. He studied language and religion in Bayero University where he graduated in 1995. He served as a program host with Freedom Radio Kano between 2004 to 2006. He became a columnist with Leadership Newspaper in 2006 (to date) with a one year stint as staff writer with Al-Nabad, an Online multi-faith Magazine based in Lebanon in 2007. In 2008 he won the prestigious Cambridge University Award for journalist writing at the intersection of science and religion. In 2015 he received a Merit Award from Sigmund Freud University in Vienna Austria. His paper, "The Bible, Quran and Darwinism" was published by Scientific God Journal in New York in 2017. His two books "Science and Scriptures: Friends or Foes?" and "Stoning" are currently available on Kindle and Amazon. Ali has been very active on Quora where he answered 518 answers with 289,000 views as of November 2020. He is currently the CEO of his small Publishing company, Booksgate Printing and Publishing Company. He is married with children and lives in Kano Nigeria. |
