| Introduction | I am formerly a 10 year victim of domestic violence of every kind - emotional, verbal, physical, economic, and sexual. After leaving my violent abusive husband on Jan. 8, 2009, with our 3 children while 3 months pregnant, my children and I are no longer victims, we are survivors. Now I am the single mother of 4 young children, struggling to rebuild a life for us out of nothing. We have gone from our home to living in a secret shelter to family to a friend in search of a safe place to finally call our own. We have been damaged badly, but I believe Jesus can heal us everywhere we hurt inside. It is my mission to help us heal and find that peace for us at last. |
