| Introduction | i'm jenn. i'm a native washingtonian, back in the dc area after undergrad at ohio state and boston university (sargent college) for grad school. i have an MS in speech-language pathology from BU, where i specialized in voice and swallowing disorders. i'm currently working as a medical speech-language pathologist in a sub-acute through long-term care facility, working primarily with patients with swallowing and cognitive deficits (due to stroke, dementia, etc.) but with the occasional language, speech, or voice patient thrown in just for fun. i love the washington redskins, washington capitals, washington nationals, and of course my ohio state buckeyes! plus my boston terriers. i am FIERCELY loyal to my schools, teams, bands, and friends. i crave intellectual stimulation; i love movies that really make you think, like psychological thrillers and films with existential themes. i'm a tremendous advocate for social equality, and i fight against the false gender dichotomy. |

If you were a wrestler, what would be your finishing move?
when i worked at b&n@bu, my café supervisor and i joked that if i were a wrestler, i'd be the mad chef; right after slamming my opponent to the floor, i'd scream something like "i just perfectly seared those scallops... and your face!" (honestly, i'd rather have a strange voice from beyond announce, "finish him!" followed by a johnny cage-style decapitation, or a kiss of death, a la sonya blade.)
