IntroductionMy "blog" was started in 2010 as a way to save my columns in the "cloud." It is probably obvious that I am not very computer literate. If I do not answer comments it is because I am not too good about checking my blog, posting in a timely manner, and not knowledgeable about using it other than having it as a file cabinet. I do however appreciate seeing comments. I was the Coordinator for the Pickaway County Master Gardener Volunteer program serving for 10 years. I am a veteran of the U.S. Air Force. We moved back to Circleville in 2007. I was a Master Gardener in Michigan and transferred to Ohio then. I am also an Ohio Certified Volunteer Naturalist, a program similar to Master Gardeners. I served 5 years establishing the Circleville Tree Commission and The Comprehensive Tree Plan for the City and as Chairman of the Tree Commission. These and other volunteer activities keep me busy. Although these interests have been mine for most of my life, my job history and education were quite different. My education is a B.A. and graduate study in Philosophy from the University of Oklahoma and an M.A. in Industrial and Organizational Psychology from Western Michigan University.
