| Introduction | Originally from the UK, I moved to Cape Town, South Africa after arriving here originally for just a 6 month sabatical and then finding I did not want to go home!! South Africa is kind of addictive ... there is always somewhere or someone new to experience & meet. Being fairly experienced within Hotel Management when in the UK, I decided to continue this path in Cape Town, especially as it was 1994, a 'New South Africa' was emerging and tourism was about to boom. (I am not often in the right place at the right time - but was spot on this time!!) I later found my true forte, was that of Sales and Marketing within hospitality. It was indeed this, along with my passion for people ... not forgetting a great desire to be my own boss of course ...that led to SomewhereSOUTH being born! www.somewheresouth.co.za |
