| Introduction | My favorite photographers, with the exception of myself, are dead. My favorites are Richard Avedon and George Hurrell. But I am also fond of the photography of Linda McCartney, Neal Preston, Edward Steichen, Alfred Steiglitz, Charles Conlon, Cecil Beaton, Edward Weston and Ross Hilmoe. Most of them are also dead. I guess it does not pay to be one of my favorite photographers ... you're likely to end up dead one day. |
| Interests | Photography, baseball (Angels fan), reading, movies, music, cooking, travel, to name a few. |
| Favorite movies | Films of Alfred Hitchcock and Woody Allen. Actors including Sean Penn, Edward Norton, The Marx Brothers, Sean Connery, Robin Williams, Joseph Cotten, Spencer Tracy, Billy Crystal and Cary Grant. Actresses including Carole Lombard, Teresa Wright, Bette Davis, Geena Davis, Salma Hayek, Drew Barrymore, Ingrid Bergman, Audrey Hepburn, Myrna Loy, Veronica Lake, Anabella Sciorra, Ashley Judd and Charlize Theron ... to name a few. |

| Favorite books | My favorite author is Neil Peart, drummer/lyricist for RUSH, my favorite band. His travelling music book is something of an inspiration for my 365 project. I am also fond of books on baseball roadtrips. I have been to more than half of the 30 Major League Baseball ballparks and hope to eventually see them all. I have read several books written by baseball fans on their travels to ballparks across the US, boasting about their favorite things and lamenting the things they wish were different. |
You're in the grocery store with a broken cart. How will you ever be that hungry?
