| Introduction | All my life space has held my fascination. From learning the names of the nine planets when I was 4 to seeing Armstrong step off the LEM at age 6 to looking at another galaxy through my own telescope at 15, space has been my first love. This blog is an ongoing dedication to my desire to see the human race out there amongst the stars. It's our birthright. You're going to find some of everything having to do with the exploration of space. On this blog I talk about the science, the pseudoscience, the politics, the history, extraterrestrials, the paranormal, religion, food (esp. caffeine), "what if" scenarios, movies, TV, books and magazines. I will also post photos and videos related in some way to space or some science having to do with it. I throw in humor wherever I can. My job is to get you laughing and thinking, and hopefully at the same time. I'm Raymond Gilford and I'm the Alien Insomniac. |
