| Introduction | I live in beautiful Derby City USA. I am a daughter, sister, a mom and an aunt (soon to be a great aunt :)). My very special role is being "Nan" to my most precious blessings, Wesley (6 1/2) and Eliza (4). I love all things vintage, cottage, french country, romantic and pink. I enjoy the hunt ~ the “find” and sharing beautiful collections, some (many) of which I have a difficult time parting. My favorites are antique/vintage linens, vintage jewelry, pottery and vanity collectibles. Mr. B believes all my "stuff" is an obsession, I prefer to describe it as a true passion and appreciation for art, history and a mix of childhood memories together with the warm feelings growing up in the "Wonder Years"! |
| Interests | My love for the PAST PERFECT (vintage and collectibles) back in 1999 evolved into my online store, Cottage Heirlooms. Cottage Heirlooms is where you will find antiques and collectibles, many of my "pretties". Life changing events, one right after another, occurred in 2012. Details are endless but when all was said and done, I can tell you that now more than ever, everything does happens for a reason albeit it is not always readily apparent. Then there is fate! I ran into a childhood friend last fall, a friendship rekindled and life has not been quite the same. I am enjoying the journey and the new friendships gained in a little shop (It's Serendipity) where pranks, laughter, tears and lives are shared as well as encouragement and inspiration to do what we love. I have opened a boutique within It' Serendipity I opened a boutique, "Heirlooms & Miscellany" offering a little bit of everything. That wasn’t enough (lol), Heirloom & Estate Solutions evolved. The latter is a service organization to assist baby boomers and our seniors transition to life changes. |
