Introduction	I was born in London, and now live in Northampton with my partner, Maureen and her son. I have three adult children and three grandchildren. I left boarding school at 17 and was articled to a firm of accountants in London. Not long after qualifying as a chartered accountant I joined what is now Price Waterhouse Coopers. Subsequently I became company secretary and chief accountant at Bronnley in Brackley. From there I became U K Controller at Fisher Price Toys in Northampton. During this time I came to live in South Northants. I later worked in London as a partner in an accountancy practice. I am a Freeman of the City of London. In 1987 I went into practice as an accountant on my own, and also became involved in the entertainment industry. I was a County Councillor from 1997 to 2005, and became a Borough Councillor in 2007.
Interests	Music,wine,older cars,football, and politics.
