| Introduction | I have practiced law for over 35 years, mostly in the employment law and appellate law fields. I am an attorney at Gjording Fouser PLLC, http://gfidaholaw.com/. During my legal career, I have helped employers investigate workplace misconduct and repair the damage caused in hundreds of situations. I love all aspects of employment law, and love writing about it, particularly in helping employers prevent litigation and create policies and practices for a healthy, respectful workplace. I love doing in house training on respectful workplace issues for employers, and doing training for other lawyers on the intricacies of employment laws. In 2002 my life took a different turn when I began working for the Diocese of Boise investigating clergy and employee misconduct, including clergy sexual abuse, until December 2005,while also serving as Human Resources Director. I have written about investigation and testified about proper investigation techniques, including co-authoring the nationally published book Investigating Harassment and Discrimination: A Practical Guide. I am a native Boisean, mother of two, a daughter and a son, married 33 years to the same wonderful man. |
