Occupation | Textile Design and Making |
---|---|
Location | Cumbria, United Kingdom |
Introduction | as a child I made all kinds of things, and was always drawing, sewing and cutting and sticking...somehow this has now magically become what I do for a living.... and I call myself a textile artist, with a passion for creating stitched textile art, living in beautiful Cumbria which inspires much of what I do |
Interests | making things, textiles, sewing, vintage, machine embroidery, crafts, lovely fabrics, cushions, magazines, The Archers, growing plants, homemade food |
Favorite Movies | Mama Mia - couldn't get enough of it! Out of Africa, Its Complicated actually anything with Meryl Streep, always wanted to be her since she was The French Lietenant's Woman and her standing on the pier all dead romantic like.... Just revisited Blues Brothers for a riotous evening....laughed till our sides ached |
Favorite Music | Coincidently just had to get Blues Brothers CD - helps with the housework no end.... |
Favorite Books | Any nice chic lit with an attractive cover and nice big writing to escape, Jane Austen ...very similar just a different era! |
