| Introduction | Tien VO MD is a board-certified Internal Medicine physician, healthcare entrepreneur, community leader, and philanthropist based in El Centro, California. He is the founder and Medical Director of Legacy MD Medical Group, a multi-specialty medical organization that provides comprehensive, community-centered care across the Imperial Valley and Coachella Valley. Dr. Tien Vo is also the founder of EasyAccess Care IPA, an Independent Physician Association that partners with multiple health plans — including Molina, Brand New Day, Astiva, and Clever — to expand healthcare access for underserved populations in Imperial County and beyond. Born in Vietnam, Tien VO MD arrived in the United States in 1992 at the age of 16 as a refugee. He spoke little English and faced enormous cultural and academic challenges. Despite these obstacles, he pursued his dream of becoming a physician with extraordinary determination — enrolling at Magnolia High School while simultaneously taking community college classes at Cypress College to catch up academically. |
