| Introduction | I am officially a senior citizen (that's according to the calendar, not the way I feel), and have been married to my husband, Bill, forever. We have three children - twins Bill and Bert who will be 53 this year, and a daughter, Elicia who is 48. We also have 5 grandchildren, 3 step-grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren. I am retired but busier than ever. I give music lessons weekly. Mainly piano lessons, but also guitar and accordion. I played with a bluegrass gospel group for almost 10 years. I enjoyed it immensely but felt like the time to call it quits. My church and my music are my passion outside my family. I have written some music, melodies to other people's lyrics, and some special occasion songs for family members on their special days. I guess I got my musical ability from my Mom's side of the family, because whenever there is an Adler get-together, you can be fairly sure instruments will be hauled out, and music will commence. I have always loved Adler get togethers for that. |
