Introduction	My name is Patrick Dane Carson and I am a pre-service Peace Corps Volunteer. I am from Santa Cruz, California, and have a BA in International Studies with a specialization in Central American Studies, and a Master of Arts in Communications with a specialization in Intercultural Communications, from Hawai'i Pacific University (HPU). Currently, I am enrolled in the Peace Corps Master International program of Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (PCMI TESOL) at the Monterey Institute of International Studies (MIIS), a graduate school of Middlebury College, located in Monterey, California. As a PCMI TESOL candidate, I depart January 23, of 2014 for Port Vila, Vanuatu, to begin my volunteer service with Project VITEL (Vanuatu Information Technology and English Literacy), eventually returning to Monterey in March of 2016.
