| Introduction | So this blog starts where my Caring Bridge leaves off. On September 21, 2011, I went into surgery for a breast reduction. During my surgery my amazing and wonderful plastic surgeon, Dr. Tuchler, found my breast cancer. If you want to read the back story you can access it through my caring bridge webpage at: http://www.caringbridge.org/visit/AmberOrduna. It was a miracle and I'm grateful to God every single day. |
| Interests | My life is exciting and unpredictable. I married my best friend and wouldn't ride this roller coaster with anyone else. I have three vibrant littles. I LOVE LOVE LOVE being a wife & mom! I love getting out and being active with my family. Spending time with my ladies is also important to me (you know who you are). My husband and I love to conduct recipe taste offs and do taste testing together (we are such food snobs). I love to cook and bake. I dream of having a close relationship with my sewing machine again and I long to be a quilter. Oh Yeah, AND Jesus is my Super Hero! |
| Favorite music | I love having breakfast with The Beatles, dinner with Jack Johnson & Dave Matthews and long car trips with any and all country (its in my blood, a good man gave me my first Garth Brooks tape). Cleaning the house isn't the same without some Led Zeppelin, Cake, Save Ferris and occasionally some trendy pop. Lounging on the patio is always better with Lionel, James Taylor, Cat Stevens, Tom Petty and Bob. They Might Be Giants makes some mean ABCs & 123s music and Rob Biagi always knocks it out of the park and grounds us all in just the right place to sing along with the kids in the car. But Sundays is where its at with Chris Tomlin, Hillsong United and Bethel Live. The honesty of who I am loves Casting Crowns, Toby Mac and Gary Rea. **I also sneak in any musicals I can when no one is watching. |
