| Introduction | Welcome to my blog. My name is Paul Waldron, I live in the beautiful city of Bath with my wife, Katie. In my spare time I'm a keen wildlife photographer. In April 2011 I was diagnosed with a rare cancer, Leiomyosarcoma (LMS). The cancer was found too late to be curable, I was 42 years old at that time. Later that year we discovered that I have Li-Fraumeni Syndrome, a very rare condition that results in a much higher risk of getting cancer than is normal. In early 2014 I experienced a stroke like event that was diagnosed as being caused by Lymphoma, another type of cancer. This blog is about my ongoing experience with these conditions. |
