| Introduction | I am a retired registered nurse who worked everything from labor and delivery (of babies) to critical care ( taking care of open heart surgery patients immediately after surgery before they wake up). I have a 21 year old son who is in Culinary school and is so handsome. I am the oldest of 6 children having 4 brothers and one very special loving sister who is also a nurse ( she is the dean of nursing at Sam Houston University in in Texas). I never married...just figured I was to ornery to get along with anybody for too long...LOL. My mom is still living and going strong although my dad passed on in 2001. I live in Baton Rouge, La and come from good strong Cajun stock. I love to cook...anything. My sister says anything I try tastes divine. |
