| Introduction | I am currently a junior at the University of South Alabama studying to become a secondary English teacher. I look to change students' ideas about reading and writing being a chore and being boring. I want to incorporate things they find interesting or make connections between what we're reading and their lives. On a side note, the title of my blog is the U.S. Army's motto. I chose it, in part, because that's who I am. I was an army brat for nearly 15 years, but also because the creativity and freedom of our students is slowly being eaten by the system. |
