Introduction	I grew up in southern California and moved to Southeast Texas in 1981. After a few years I became a juvenile probation and parole officer (great experience for secondary grade teaching). As a PO, I noticed a common thread among many of our "clients"; they had learning disabilities. So, I became a special education educator. I truly believe that ALL students are general education students, some just have learning disabilities. I am a proud parent of three amazing grown children and have been blessed with five fantabulous grandchildren. My husband of 32+ years and I are really looking forward to retiring ... soon!
Interests	Spending time with family, boating, traveling and staying in five star hotels.
