| Introduction | In the Lord of the Rings Sam Wise asked Frodo "What kind of story have we fallen into?" I have realized that I have fallen into God's love story. The Bible isn't a rulebook or a history lesson its a love story that hasn't ended and I am a part of this story, His story. I'm in love with my Creator and whats even more crazy is that He is in love with me. I can't even begin to understand why He loves His Church (those who call on His name) so much but He does. Why would the perfect man love the imperfect, invalid, helpless, sinful, decrepit woman that has made herself his enemy by the way she behaved? I do not know but because He did, He took all of her punishment and we will never be judged for our sins just as long as we accept His loving gift of freedom. The perfect man has now made it possible to marry a perfect and spotless bride. History book, rule book, or a manual? I think not. I am my Beloved's and He is mine. |
