| Introduction | I have lived in or near to Stone in Staffordshire almost all my life and am passionate about the town.I am married to Janet and have two children, two step daughters and six grandchildren. For eight years I was Stone Town Councillor and for four years a Stafford Borough Councillor. However, in 2011, I retired having become totally disillusioned with party politics. I am still actively involved with several groups in Stone. I am a member of the Common Plot trustees and Chairman of Stone Town Bonfire and Firework committee, Friends of Stone Station and Stone Food and Drink Festival. I hope you find this blog interestng and that it may encourage some to get imvolved in their own communuties. |
