Introduction	I began running before I can remember. At first I didn't even like running that much. I just liked winning. That's still true I suppose, but I've managed to make so many good friends through this sport that there's not much point in giving it up now. I'm also a perfectionist, which means I won't stop something until I'm absolutely satisfied with the outcome. In the field of running that means lowering my current 15:08 PR to sub-15:00. I suppose you're probably not that interested in my PRs though. So I'll just tell you that I am 28 years old and have a house in Syracuse, NY where I live with my wife Christine and attend SUNY Upstate Medical School. I will finally be graduating in May with an MD and PhD. I plan to work in pediatric oncology. One day I may cure childhood leukemia, either through research or running really fast at one of those "race for the cure" 5ks.
