Introduction	I am one of those people who would rather spend a drizzly Seattle Sunday morning loping through the farmer’s market, collecting stories and eggs than curled up at home in bed. On my coffee table are my McGee’s reference, a few stolen copies of Wine Spectator, the Wednesday Seattle Times food section with giant holes where the recipes used to be, and the restaurant edition of Seattle Magazine. Yes, It’s mildly embarrassing. Food is my life. This geeky interest – and let’s admit it, obsession - is shared with just about anyone who’ll listen which, as you can imagine, makes me the most loved and feared guest at dinner parties. Thank goodness I’ve found some appropriate outlets for my obsession along the way, including this blog. When I'm not cycling all over Puget Sound, teaching cooking classes at PCC, studying nutrition texts for my future profession as a dietitian, or pouring wine for tourists in Woodinville, I can be found at home in my West Seattle kitchen, whipping up something sweet for my chocoholic significant other, Mark. This blog is dedicated to him, the first to share my home and creations, the one who has inspired me to share it with everyone else.
