About me

Introduction	I’m passionate about God’s kingdom and Christ’s Church, and developing disciples and leaders - especially the next generation of leaders. I long to see Christians everywhere living to become more like Christ, pursuing Kingdom purpose and values. My leadership experience dates right back to school and sporting teams, though “in those years” few peers listened to their captain – even the family dog took no notice; this also prepared me for parenting - Anne and I have 2 daughters & a son, all married. My formal training is in both education and theology and my work roles have been in leadership in both private schools and a large church. In 2001, I became the Executive Director of Leadership Network Australia, networking with leaders of large churches across denominations throughout Australia. I gained a privileged perspective of the Church in Australia which motivated my book “The Journey Ahead for 21st century Church and its Leadership”. I’m excited about this journey with ACOM, and I hope this blog engages people in dialogue and action on contemporary Kingdom issues.
