| Introduction | I am a daughter, sister, wife, boy Mom, hospice chaplain, author of My Little Blue House, and newly licensed therapist. I am a Christian. I believe in the power of Hope and in a God who is merciful. I believe our part is to love God and neighbor, show up, and begin again as many times as it takes. I love family life, walking with those who are grieving, and working with those who are ready to die today or live ten more years. In my life, it all goes together somehow and I feel some responsibility for sharing the sacred perspective only the dying and grieving can give. I process by writing. My motivation for sharing what is mine is to help you with what is yours - To have your own conversations with God and with one another. The good, bad, ugly, and mundane is the stuff of life. It is the means for our sanctification and should be used to increase our capacity to love. We are all on the same journey. If you want to grow in holiness, it is helpful to travel with someone. I invite you to travel with me. May God be with us. |
