| Introduction | I am a Limited License Psychologist, a Certified School Psychologist, a Board Certified Behavior Analyst, a Certified Rational Hypnotherapist, and a Certified Sex-Offender Treatment Specialist. I received my Bachelor's degree in Marketing and my Master's degree in Counseling Psychology from the University of Louisville in Kentucky. My BCBA training was completed through the University of North Texas. I have conducted psychological and psycho-educational assessments for the last 14 years and have worked with many different clients, including children as young as four engaging in play therapy, juvenile and adult offenders, couples, and families. I have counseled in faith-based and secular settings. I am also an active member of a suicide awareness and prevention coalition in Eaton County. I prefer to work from the client's strengths to overcome challenges using cognitive and behavioral techniques. I enjoy using a variety of media to communicate thoughts, beliefs, and feelings. I have enjoyed getting to know a wide variety of folks from many different walks of life and I feel privileged that I have been allowed to accompany each of them on a small portion of their life journey. |
