| Introduction | A "Recovering Catholic" that didn't really understand what I was all about until graduate school and Harry Potter. Even now, my worldview is constantly being modified and that's a good place to be. Nothing is certain and that's the way I like it...constantly questioning and learning. I am 100% nerd and am finally OK with that distinction. I teach psychology at RCTC in Minnesota, have tattoos, love music, love my career (it's no longer a "job"), am finally dating someone whom I consider an equal, and pretty much can't stop feeling like my life is turning out pretty freaking sweet every day. |
| Interests | Evolution, Pirates, Psychology, World of Warcraft, Intellectual conversation, Freedom from Religion, Music, Tattoos, Really Horrible TV, Harry Potter, Reading, Biking |
| Favorite movies | Shawshank Redemption, Old School, Spaceballs, Blazing Saddles, Dodgeball, ALL the Pirates movies and Harry Potter movies |
| Favorite music | ANYTHING but country and most hippity-hop. Depending on my mood I listen to what I need. Driving? Tool, System of a Down, and the like. Drunk at a bar? I just wanna dance! :D All in all I don't really have a "favorite" type of music, but you can find me listening to bands like Tool, Blink 182, System of a Down, NIN, Dave Matthews, etc.. more often than not. I do have a new band to obsess over out of Minneapolis called Cloud Cult. Ryan and I saw them at the Block Party and they pretty much rock my socks off. |
| Favorite books | Psychology Textbooks (I teach the stuff...what can I say?), non-fiction that can enlighten me, anything by Steven Pinker or Richard Dawkins, Harry Potter, and books with dragons. I work part-time at a bookstore...reading is good for you. |
