| Introduction | 10 years after first dropping out of college I returned to finish. To do thta I moved halfway across the world (Germany to Iowa) with a 5 year old daughter. My husband had just been diverted to the front line in the first Gulf War. My father-in-law had just passed away. Talk about stress. This was back when evening, weekend, and online classes did not exist. My extended family was all an hour, 4 hours or more away. It was difficult and what got me through was a great support system of friends. Here is a virtual neighborhood where we can all connect and be that support system for each other. My goal now (15+ years later) is to earn a MACI with an emphasis in online course development. I plan to pursue opportunities in the area of creating/formatting additional online courses for adults.
