| Introduction | I am Colombian and Scottish by immediate descent and so it is unlikely I will ever be known as mild, calm, un-excitable or laid back. I am very tall for a small person or so I have been told; I take up a lot of space. I speak Spanish fluently, survive well in French and am teaching myself German. I love art and history, religion and politics and can spend hours talking about these things, or anything else even mildly related to any of these topics. My favorite cities are Barcelona and Berlin. My 15 YO son says I'm confusing, argumentative, fun and cool. This is the highest praise I could wish for. I have attended balls in Manhattan and sailed the Bering Sea on a fish processor. I photograph graffiti and air traffic control towers around the world and look everywhere for odd little antiques. I was once told I collect people and was strangely proud of this. I find them any and every where from BOS and back |

You can punch a hole in an apple using a straw. How do you think that makes your milkshake feel?
The milkshake feels delighted that, at last I am not restricted or encumbered by the tiny channel to its smooth and sweet delights and that with two hands I can (with no little wild abandon) lift its frothy self to my very own lips tip back and drink in all its airy wonderfulness. Let the apple find a use for the damn straw. Lucky fruit usually gets a big bad voracious bite.
