Introduction | I am a Christian. Non-denominational. I believe that the Bible is without error. Christian life is daily, not Sunday only. I have been knitting for 5 years. I did have "fear of frogging" for a long time. Now frogging is my friend. I love to cook & bake. Last year I have even started juicing. Japanese? Well, I was a missionary there for 6-1/2 years, from late 1986-early 1993. I worked in a coffee shop in downtown Sapporo. The church I helped had 2 shops, one adjacent to the church, & one downtown. I can't believe how time flys!! I talk about Japan, like veterans talk about war. When I moved up here, one of my first bosses was a WWII vet, & he always said, "When I was in France...". I think everyone is sick of me saying, "When I was in Japan...". But those memories will be with me forever!! |
Interests | Bible. Knitting. Food. Japanese. |
Favorite Movies | Anything Gregory Peck or James Stewart. Mary Poppins. Dances With Wolves. The Russians Are Coming!! Can't think of anything recent that has stuck with me. |
Favorite Music | Oldies. Worship music. Jazz. Classical. Really almost everything but rap. |
Favorite Books | The Bible. F.B. Meyer, or any great old Christian authors. Chronicles of Narnia. Alexander McCall Smith books. Harry Potter books. Many Christians may disown me for that, that's ok. I like them. |
The first time you had your shoes taken off - how surprised were you to see that you still had toes?
This is a random question from Google. I had to keep clicking to get something that I could relate to! My 4th toe is very short on both feet. Everyone always made fun of them. But the first time I saw them in a mirror the way everyone else saw them I screamed!! :)
