| Introduction | Jene Youtt is first and foremost an artist who started painting in oils. As a way to finance his art Jene worked in off-Broadway Theater and later with various dance companies. He took his lighting skills into TV and film. He is an award winning lighting director with 2 Emmy’s who later traded his paints for a camera. He is an acclaimed fine art photographer winning HM award in the 2009 Prix de la Photogfrahic Paris, 1st Place for the 2008 Momentum Images of Dance as well as other awards in recent years. His work has exhibited in NY and NJ as well as Japan. Mary Durante Wehrhahn always dabbled in the arts. Saved her allowance for a “Girl Scout” camera; turned to drawing and painting in highschool and design in college. With the birth of her daughter she was given a Rollei as a gift. To put food on the table, she worked in advertising - 19 years with Kids and Babies”R”Us in print production. Once again longing to create, she went behind the lens. Realizing she had an exquisite eye for composition and an ability to capture an underlying sensuality and beauty in both nature and people she turned to the fine arts. |
