| Introduction | If you're a christian woman deciding not to vote, please do not define that with a coating of God's Word, as His will, when it is clearly your free choice. Please don't use the argument that women should not have authority over men. What a cop out for critical thinking and taking responsibility for your own actions, or lack there of. Think on Deborah in the bible who was judge over Israel for both men and women. Deborah's position was ordained of God. For a christian to vote means they have a say in promoting God's agenda and principles. Vote with your husband, if you feel his vote is in support of God's will but not because you're being so called submissive to him. In that case, we might argue to be submissive to one another so why is he not voting your way, if it might differ. If you are a single christian woman, then you have the responsibility, given to you through God through the present American government you live under, to vote and to vote God's agenda. I have no idea what nonsense has sprouted about unmarried christian woman not having a right to vote but should wait to be married and let their husband decide. God has set us free!! Why seek bondage where there is none? |
