| Introduction | I am a publishing graduate student at Portland State University and a member of the Ooligan Press design department. Ooligan is a general trade press rooted in the rich literary life of the Pacific Northwest that publishes books honoring the cultural and natural diversity of the region. Founded in 2001, Ooligan is a teaching press in the Department of English at Portland State University and is dedicated to the art and craft of publishing. The press is staffed by students pursuing master's degrees in an apprenticeship program under the guidance of a core faculty of publishing professionals. |
