Introduction	Welcome to my Blog! I am a Division I Athlete at The University of Texas Rio Grande Valley. I am on the women's track and field team. Roughly 6.2% of high school athletes compete at the collegiate level in women’s track and field and within collegiate athletics the graduations success rate is about 86% in Division I. Making it to the collegiate level is a lot harder than most people think, especially at the Division I level. I am here to give you the ins and out of my collegiate experience as a Division I athlete and to give you a sense of what it is like to be a collegiate athlete!
