Introduction | I must start by admitting that I'm a "brain", a nerd--I love learning. BA in Chemistry at an Ivy League University, then worked toward a Ph.D. in a medical science at a top medical school. Continued classes at the graduate level in several different areas, especially psychology and neuropsychology. After doing valuable research in my own area of expertise, I regretfully left when it became evident even to me that I was too sick to continue. |
Interests | Working and playing with my service dog, reading--fiction & many assorted non-fiction areas, miniatures (1:12, 1:4, and 1:144 scale)--I just started a collector's-quality dollhouse--the one of my dreams, and I also make much of the furniture and dress the dolls, quilting (including crazy quilting), plus a number of other arts and crafts, including some "disappearing" ones like making bobbin lace and tatting. |
