| Introduction | I am a self taught mixed media artist. For me, the actual process of creating is as satisfying as the finished product. I could spend a lot of time just making backgrounds and do sometimes to get creativity flowing. I enjoy art journaling, collage, rubber stamping, making cards, altering books, making and trading Artist Trading Cards, mail art, making paper, and any form of paper art I can think of. I love to find usual “stuff” to use in unusual ways. Such as playing cards, postage stamps, coin envelopes, etc. Also enjoy using found objects like rusted metal, smashed bottle caps, washers, etc. I have a great love and respect for nature and like to incorporate nature themes and items from nature (such as leaves) into my art. I create beaded jewelry and I also like to work with clay. I enjoy swapping with other artists - usually ATCs. And love the idea of collaborative art projects and meeting others with a love for creativity. I love to hear and see how creativity works for others. I have a great time watching my art friends on YouTube and Ustream. |
