| Introduction | I have been a trial lawyer for more than 20 years. I have been a prosecutor, defense attorney, professor, writer, lecturer, television commentator, and juror. I have seen many things in a courtroom that still amaze me to this day. It is where real life meets art and science. Working in my firm are several great people: Lou, Giovanni, Josh, Icelsa, and Jennifer. Lou is one of my partners, and with whom I work most closely building my firm. He was one of my first mentors in 1992, and I still learn from him everyday. Giovanni has been an attorney with me for 7 years and is now of counsel to my firm. I trained him at Pace Law School when he was a student, and he has been working my cases ever since. He is tenacious, dedicated, and smart. Josh is our rising star: bright, hardworking, and creative. Icelsa has been with me for 8 years as my paralegal. She runs the office and is a great advocate for clients and their needs. More people send her Christmas gifts than anyone else in the office! Jennifer is our writing and research star. She has been an associate in top NYC firms, as well as clerked in the Second Circuit Court of Appeals and the Appellate Division, Second Department. |
