About me

Introduction I'm not one to follow rules and I like a challenge, especially when someone says it can't or shouldn't be done! I've been a member of the Society for Creative Anachronism, a medieval recreation group, since 2009. My main areas of interest are gluten-free baking, sewing, scroll illumination and creating decorations for events, but I love to try just about anything that sparks my interest. Although authenticity is important to me, celiac disease and chronic pain have forced me to adapt. It is this divergence that inspires me to show others that diet, physical, and even financial limitations do not have to mean giving up on the appearance of authenticity in any area of just needs to be a bit more crafty to achieve the semblance. Please enjoy the chronicles of my creative life and remember it's okay to colour outside the lines! ~Go confidently in the direction of your dreams! Live the life you've imagined~ Henry David Thoreau
