| Introduction | Hello! My name is Veronica Corradino and I am a student in Valdosta State University’s MLIS degree program. I am also a circulation assistant at Union County Public Library, but I also have over five years of experience in an academic library. Like a few of my fellow library professionals, the field of librarianship found me. I earned my Bachelor’s degree in criminal justice and immediately took an entry level position at my university library. Happily, I found that I felt right at home in the library as an employee, just as I had whilst a student. Four years later I started work on my MLIS. Upon graduation, I hope to remain in the field of academic librarianship. |
