About me

Introduction I started Dr Poon's Metabolic Diet on 19th of August, 2013. It's a Canadian program that's meant to be medically supervised, but there are no clinics in Australia, so I did it on my own. I lost over 117 pounds with Dr Poon and then hit a stall I couldn't break through. I added Intermittent Fasting to the mix and by July 2015 I'd lost 129 pounds.

Then a trip home for a month, my first in 9 years, brought back 14 pounds. Over the next six months it crept up to nearly a 40 pound regain. Nothing that worked before was working now. The Doctor said be happy I was healthy now and women my age always struggle with weight. But I had a goal and I'm determined to reach it, hormones be damned!
