| Introduction | I LOVE decorating! Decorating houses and decorating people! I consider doing my teaparties as "decorating people," because I am providing so many fun garments for girls and ladies to play dress up. I love all things fancy, or "frou-frou"as some people call it, covered with ruffles, sparkles, fringe, etc. I have been sewing for over 60 years, designing most of my own clothes, embellishing others, making purses, refinishing antiques, repurposing things I find that other folks wouldn't see the "diamond in the rough" like I do. I am a writer, currently working on little stories about my own life, kind of like a memoir. I do volunteer storytelling in a local preschool and help in a reading program at a Middle School. I am an avid reader, but am trying to spend more time writing now. |
