Introduction | Dx'd with MS 1994; have one adult son, and a small foolish dog. Had my first angioplasty on 2 June, 2010 and I have my life back. I was then able to become full time caregiver for my mother (born 1921) who had a stroke that affected her memory, cognitive skills, and gave her mild dementia. Stroke date was 29 June, 2010. After eight months at home, I could no longer care for her, and she now lives in a retirement residence. If I had not been treated for CCSVI when I was, I would have needed a caregiver myself, and could not have cared for her. Mom died on 30 July 2011, and I moved to Halifax Nova Scotia for 4 months. I'm now back in Orillia, realizing that it's HOME, and the closest thing to roots I've known, having lived here for 25 years. |
