Introduction	I'm a mixed media artist living in a log cabin in a beautiful canyon in central New Mexico with my husband Jimmy. We have six grown children between the ages of 21 and 34 and four grandchildren. I've loved art since childhood but became more serious about it in my late teens when I began painting with oils and working as a production artist for newspapers. I have enjoyed the transition to digital graphic design and art and through the years have added watercolor, printmaking and various mixed media techniques to my "skill set". I love patterns, depth and layers, doodle sketches, letter forms and texture and color of all kinds - subtle, muted variations to the bright, cheery ones. I see creativity as a reflection of our Creator and feel blessed to participate in this part of His nature and in all the diversity that exists in creation. I'm constantly experimenting and I'm still waiting to see how it all comes together so that's why I still call myself an artist wannabe.
