Introduction	I am interested in the personal relationship a viewer can forge with imagery, a subtlety that I strive to create in my work. I employ traditional, labour intensive techniques as I admire the feeling of quality and time that has been spent on the work and set myself new challenges with each piece I create. My work is concerned with mark making, utilising tone and texture with sensitivity to create an illusion of time and space on the page, whether a moving drawing or a static image.
