| Introduction | At the age of 43, I suffered Sudden Cardiac Death. After 58 minutes of CPR, God's Grace, my husband by my side, and the hands of the best physicians, I survived. Due to the loss of oxygen, I incurred brain damage. Mostly, this impacts my short term memory which , you can imagine, can be a bit of a challenge, especially when you love to be in the kitchen, and am a Mom to 3 lovely kiddos. Anywho,after the heart attack, I couldn't remember how to boil water, let alone bake. I mean,really, how sad is that? But, I had this craving for a great iced butter cookie. Well, let me tell ya, they are just too hard to come by. So, determined chic that I am, I decided to figure it out myself. I baked and created and tweaked recipes until I re-taught myself how to bake. THE PERFECT COOKIE!! One thing led to another, and I started baking...a lot of said cookies! And I started giving them away. Well, that said, I do tons of cookies ..always from my heart...not to charge for and make a living (although, many have encouraged me to do so) But, I like to do these little babies on my OWN TERMS.
