| Introduction | Politeracy Nigeria is an initiative to transform Politics and Governance in Nigeria by paying attention to the root causes of our societal challenges - a lack of education, exposure and enlightenment, generally, but more specifically in the area of political literacy (politeracy). The dearth of #Politeracy is prevalent across all strata of Nigerian society, but is certainly worse felt among Nigeria's middle class and elite who in spite of their privileged education and exposure in science, business and the arts, are hardly politically literate. We believe that a massive investment in politeracy and civic engagement will improve the demand and supply side of politics and governance in Nigeria - creating better candidates and creating a more engaged and effective electorate #LetsGetInvoved |
