| Introduction | Our family moved out of the city and into the 'country'to get a little closer to the land. We do not live on a hobby farm, per say, but the closest we could come to one within our price range and distance constraints. Our goals were to increase our garden space, try to live more simply, live 'greener' (trees as well as environmentally), be nearer to wide open spaces, and maybe try to dabble with raising some animals. Our journey has been rewarding and disappointing at the same time as we try to embrace the reasons we love the change, and also why we struggle with it. Not to mention, bringing our 3 children with us in the journey. |
