| Introduction | Here goes...Hi my name is Christy. Some know me simply as Shadowedvampirerose. I am mainly a private person though I do have a few close friends. Those who truly know the real me and not simply the one I show the world around me. What I have listed here are simply likes and dislikes. This only shows you a tiny glimpse of a part of me. This does not make me who I am though. So remember just because you read this does not mean you truly know me. I have suffered from Bi polar disorder for years. Of course originally they just called it manic depression until they realized there was a lot more to it than that. Am not sure what else to put here. Though I am sure many of those who I consider friends and family can tell you more about who and how I am. Some good, Some bad. But in the end I am me. I do not make excuses for the way I am. Nor am I willing to try to be someone who I am not simply to please you or anyone else. |
| Interests | I love the web site called VampireFreaks. I have been a member there for several years (since 2000 under various screen names. What can I say I get bored with one and feel the need for change).I run a few "cults"( and no I do not know why they call them that when they are no more message boards.)They are mainly fantasy (vampire, lycan, etc) based role play games. Which I am addicted too as well.You can always see me on the computer or with a book in my face. I enjoy the escapism of it all. I can be anyone and do just about anything. There are no judgments and I am free to be who I really am inside.I have found joy in many different things in my life over the years. Such as reading, music, movies, wandering old cemeteries, role play, trying new things, and learning .I have found that there is never a time when you cannot learn something new. You do not need money, schools, or any kind of social standing in order to learn anything. It simply takes the drive, hunger and something as simple as a library card to do so.I have found the most comfort in Writing and Art. Ahhh, my love of writing. I love to sit and compose poetry and short stories. Create characters for them or for role play. Sometimes I just write in one of my leather bound journals about what I have seen, my dreams, hopes, and desires. As for my love of Art. I love to collect Fantasy art, Gothic art, Abstract Art, Post-Impressionist Art, twisted surrealistic art, body art (tattoos), anything working with the human form/faces/surrealism, Post Modern art, Sculpture, comic art, and anything unique and distinctive. Some of my favorite Artists would have to be Vincent van Gogh, Luis Royo, Kat Von D, Claude Monet, Edgar Degas, Pierre Renoir, Rembrandt, Hieronymous Bosch, Alan Lee, and H.R. Giger. |
| Favorite movies | I love movies and it does not matter what movie it is..black n white or color, horror, sci fi, comedy,drama, romance I enjoy them all! Some of my favorites would have to be Dracula (with Bela Legosi ),The wolfman,The Mummy,Frday the 13th,Nightmare on Elm st,The Devils Rejects,Shawshank Redemption,The Crow,The Crow city of Angels, AVP,Blades, Eat Pray Love,Indiana Jones,The Godfather,And many others. |
| Favorite music | I enjoy music of all kinds. I pretty much listen to anything with a beat. Though key word to this is anything. There are things that even I refuse to even listen to such as gospel and disco. I love classical music even and some of my favorite Composers are Chopin,Tchychosky,Vivaldi,Wagner,Handel, and Bach. Though I do enjoy the music of our times as well. Some of my favorite Groups or musicians are ,Dave Navarro,Evanescence,AC DC,Ozzy,Black Sabbath, Korn,Pantara,Limp Biskit,Aerosmith,Alanis Morrissette,Alice Cooper, Twisted Sister,Cradle of Filth,Godsmack,Iron Maiden,Marilyn Manson, Metallica,Nirvana,puddle of mudd,Red Hot Chilli Peppers,Kidney Thieves,Rob Zombie,Hinder,Queen,Pink,Buckcherry,and Many Others. With this some of my favorite songs are I'm a bitch,slept so long,redeemer,cold,so cold,forsaken,before i'm dead,behind blue eyes, control,let me go,burn,i'd do anything for love,bring me to life,hollow, breathe,life of my own,that smell,hells bells,sweet dreams,dead souls, enter the sandman,vampires,blvd. of broken dreams,my immortal, living dead girl,crazy bitch,and several others. |
| Favorite books | I enjoy reading and happily own several books. I think on the last count I own about 300.I enjoy reading Horror, true crime, romance, historical, biography,hell I would read just about anything I can get my hands on. Some of my favorite authors are Laurell Hamilton,Lord Byron,Poe, Shakespeare,Percy Bysshe Shelley,Mary Shelley,Stephen King, Karen Chance,Anne Rice,Mary Janice Davidson,Sherrilyn Kenyon, Dean Knootz,Amanda Quick,and many others |
