| Introduction | I am a retired assistant professor and I am the second oldest in a large family (lucky me). I did not intend to write a blog but then I heard Glenn Beck and Rush Limbaugh talking about Hillary and especially Obama during the 2008 election and I had to fire back. I also had a goal to write about every book I read so I talk about many fiction books in my blog. There are also a few blogs about my personal life. |

| Favorite books | I love science fiction and I am on Goodreads so anyone can go there to see a list of the books I have read. There are two lists of science fiction books I have read on my blog. I try to keep up with contemporary bestseller fiction. |
