Introduction My name is Linda and I can remember wanting to be an artist as far back as my kindergarten days. I took some detours along the way, first as a high school business teacher and later in various education positions in private industry. Over the years I've learned sewing, knitting, crochet, crewel embroidery, needlepoint, stained glass, photography, decoupage, and various types of jewelry making. About 20 years ago I discovered decorative (tole) painting and when I retired in 2006 I became an OSCI (One-Stroke Certified Instructor). My attention has been focused on painting and jewelry making for quite some time. In 2010 I decided to learn how to make polymer clay focal beads and it has become my obsession! Much of my jewelry combines polymer clay focal beads with crystals, pearls, and semi-precious stones. In the Spring of 2011, I became a Bead Corner Design Academy Certifed Instructor and I taught jewelry classes at the Michael's store in Rutland, Vermont.
